New Year!!

Well, as I am writing this, Earth is moving rapidly around our sun at the speed of 67,000 miles per hour. Which means that all of us are actually rushing towards a new year ---2010
2010 means a lot to me.... for example, if you reverse the number sequence ignoring the zeros,  you will get 12 which is the day of my birthday. 2010 is also the official start of my young adult life since I've completed my SPM this year(2009).
If you count in Time as a rapidly growing dimension, our world is growing and enlarging at the rate of 1 second per second. That means, whether we like it or not, 2010 is going to come. 

Happy Thoughts

Well, recently I have been reading a book entitled "The Secret".
It is a good book actually....
From the book, I found out that if you think of something, it will be attracted to you!!
Some people might thought, "Thats impossible! won't aliens appear if we thought about them?"
Well, they answered it themselves! Deep in their brain, They are thinking the though "thats impossible!"
That is why aliens does not exist.....
 OK! back to the main theme...
According to this 'Secret', if we have lots of positive thoughts, our life will be happy...
That is why, we must always think of happy thoughts, not negative ones....
As a conclusion, devise a happy thought and concentrate on it whenever you feel sad or angry...
this will keep the negative 'things' at bay.....

Holiday Curse

Recently, I think I've been affected by the 'Holiday Curse'.
The common symptoms of Holiday Curse are:
1. Severe laziness
2. Games addiction
3. Seems to miss school a LOT!!
4. Feels lethargic
5. Wakes up late
6. Seems to feel that time passes slowly
7. Have nothing to do except blogging.....
The list just goes on and on.........  

Japanese games

Well, lets not pretend that I am good in my japanese, but Japanese games rocks.
Recently, I started to play Naruto-Narutimate accel 2....
To my utmost disappointment, the game is in Japanese.....
anyway, after playing it, I figured out a way to play it..
First, I'll identify a few keywords...such as "go to", "yes", "no"
Then I'll start playing by guessing at the words meaning ... pretty convenient,eh....

Christmas

  Christmas is a joyful celebration for all. For me, Christmas is a time when I get extra time to write my blog.
Well, I had to admit I am rather impressed by a story that I've seen in TV this morning. It is entitled "Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Night of Christmas". It is really touching and funny at the same time I think you should all watch it...

e-Learning

While cleaning our house, I discovered a series of magazines in my house called e-Learning. Well, it is basically a  magazine for primary school students. e-Learning is actually a magazine from the popular Ge Mei Lia series. While reading it, I found out more about something called CGI...

As a curious and intuitive person, I started to indulge myself in drawing Computer Generated Imageries or CGI...

The software I chose is GIMP 2 coz its free...
Well, this is my first CG creation...

Basically, this piece of work is an enhanced picture of a waterfall picture that I got from google... I added in some sunlights and green grasses...Hope it looks good..

Pokemon Soul Silver

For a pokemon fan like me, the release of the latest Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver is a very anticipated event. Since I am having a very important exam this year(SPM), I have to wait till my exams are over before starting to play the game. After downloading the game, I was disappointed. Why? the game I downloaded was the Japanese version. I was told that the English version of the game might not be released until next year...

Well, for an avid gamer like me, language barrier is not a problem. I downloaded an additional patch that allows me to translate the battle scenes and menus to English. However, there's a catch. The dialogs of the characters are not translated. Therefore, I need to translate the dialogs word by word... Trust me, it is a very tiring work...

Anyway, my hard work payed off..Now,I can play my pokemon soul silver version earlier than any of my friends...

Intro to the Dimension

For a math and science student, dimension is specified as the minimum number of coordinates needed to specify each point within it. As an example, in a 3D space, 3 axises are needed to express the position of an object e.g., x-axis, y-axis and z-axis. Length, time, energy, luminance are some of the dimensions specified in our world. In my blog, I will express my feelings in this "space" created by me, a dimension in itself to contain my opinions and views.
